Recipe: Cilantro-Pesto Marinade (best for barbequed pork, chicken, and fish)

Looking for a way to spice your meat without making a mess? Look no further! This marinade is so easy and inexpensive to make. I recommend purchasing some zip-lock bags and soaking your chicken, pork, or fish in this for 12-24 hours.

  • In a small glass bowl, combine:
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro, packed firmly
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice, hand-squeezed
  • 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground oregano

Place all ingredients in a ziplock bag with your desired meat and allow 12-24 hours of saturation time.

Bake, stir-fry, or preferably grill, once your meat has marinated.
