Recipe: Low Calorie Hot Chocolate

When winter hits, I want to be warm and I want to feel cozy…. Comfort foods become must-have items; including soups and hot cocoa! Recently, I have learned that I can have 1 cup of hot chocolate every night without putting on the pounds! This is my secret recipe:

  • heat 1 cup non-fat milk in a saucepan until it is barely simmering
  • add 1/2 ozĀ  chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • add a pinch of salt, to taste
  • Stir
  • Add Truvia to sweeten, if necessary
