A “whey” to enjoy dessert: Protein Pudding!
Let’s face it: Dessert makes women happy!
I am a foodie and that has been the biggest challenge for me when it comes down to getting results. I usually don’t eat enough during the day and then make up for it late at night……continually sabotaging my hard-earned gym efforts. Recently, I have been experiencing cravings for dessert foods, but I know how much fats and carbs affect my ability to maintain my nice, flat stomach. So, I have been experimenting in the kitchen and trying to find ways to satiate my late-night-hunger without destroying my results. I weighed 128 lbs last November (2012) and am currently down to 111 lbs. I want to stay here without starving!
I have discovered another “whey” to enjoy dessert while maintaining my current weight. Who is hungry for some Protein Pudding?!?
This is the basic recipe:
- 1 box JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 1.5 cups Non-fat milk
- 2 scoops protein powder (aim for 25 grams protein, 0 fat, 0 carbs)
Mixing Instructions:
Mix 1 1/2 cups milk, 1 packet of the sugar free instant pudding mix, and 2 scoops of protein in a blender for 2 minutes. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

- 1 box chocolate-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
Vanilla Egg-Nog Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups egg nog
- 1 box vanilla-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
Chocolate Cheesecake Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups fat-free milk
- 1 box cheesecake-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
Vanilla Cheesecake Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups fat-free milk
- 1 box cheesecake-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
Chocolate Banana Cream Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups fat-free milk
- 1 box banana cream-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
Vanilla Banana Cream Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups fat-free milk
- 1 box banana cream-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
Chocolate Butterscotch Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups fat-free milk
- 1 box Butterscotch-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
Vanilla Butterscotch Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups fat-free milk
- 1 box Butterscotch-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
White Chocolate & Vanilla Protein Pudding
- 1.5 cups non-fat milk
- 1 box white chocolate-flavored JELL-O (Sugar-free/fat-free)
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
