Exercise Tip of the Week: Sign up for 1 group fitness class/week or follow an exercise video
It feels good to be part of a group, but it’s hard to get the body you want when all of your friends want to meet every weekend for “Happy Hour.” So, today I am recommending that we all sign up for 1 group fitness class per week.
I am really good at saying “I’ve always wanted to try that,” but I never seem to follow through. So today, I signed up for a 2 hour long “pole class” this Sunday. I love finding new ways to make fitness fun! Who knows….maybe I’ll learn a few new moves!
No matter where you live, there are so many choices to explore: Kick-boxing, dance, spin, boot-camps….etc. Invite your friends to join you. Weekends can be fun without Happy Hour. Besides, there will be plenty of binging opportunities this weekend and you won’t have to feel as guilty for partaking in them if you workout first.
If you can’t afford a class, then simply invite your friends over to follow an exercise video with you! Visit the exercise link under my blog for several 30-minute long full-body workouts featuring my client and friend, Jennifer Stano-David. Make the event an excuse to host a healthy lady’s night pot-luck dinner! Add 2 of these short strength-training workouts to your 3 day/week interval routine and you’ll be exercising for at least 30 minutes 5 days/week!
Keep eating every 3 hours, add protein to 3 meals every day, and stay tuned for more tips on how to get the body you want! Spring is around the corner and it’s time to get bikini-ready!
Stay fit, stay happy, and stay healthy!
