Recipe: Paleo French Toast
It’s hard to feel satiated on a low starch diet. The more I work out, the hungrier I get!
I’m trying my best to plan ahead. The holidays are coming and I would rather lose 5 lbs now to make up for the average “5 lb gain” that most people will experience this season. I don’t want to be that person struggling to lose 5-10lbs come January 1st!
I’m enjoying the sensation of indulging in starch without actually consuming it. I owe my satiation to Julian Bakery and their “Paleo Bread.” I don’t feel guilty eating this bread any time of day. It’s egg white-based, gluten-free, and only contains 35 calories/slice! I like to soak 1-2 slices in 1 beaten egg and sautee it on the stove using fat-free coconut oil spray, cinnamon, Truvia, Coco powder, and sometimes some sugar-free maple syrup!
I feel like I just had some naughty French Toast while only consuming 150 calories! I love finding new ways to make skinny taste so good!
