Prepare for push-Ups!

Let’s face it: push-ups are hard! This exercise is a great way to work your chest, shoulders, arms, and core, but sadly, most of us can’t do very many.

We have to learn how to crawl before we learn how to walk. Instead of wasting all of our energy on trying to squeeze out 3-5 push-ups, let’s back up a little and begin by  strengthening the muscles used for push-ups.

Today, we are going to learn how to perform the plank press-up. The plank press-up is the ideal exercise for strengthening the muscles required to perform a proper push-up. Just follow these helpful tips and perform 3 sets of 20 reps daily (10 reps leading with the right arm and another 10 reps leading with the left arm). You will be performing push-ups in no-time and your shoulders will have the definition to show for it!
