Recipe: Cinnamon Roasted Chicken

Do you want leaner legs? Well, I hate to say it, but you are what you eat. Lean meats like chicken are optimal sources of protein, have a high nutrient-density, low calorie density, and aid in lean muscle building and repair (which you will be needing if you plan to work your legs into better shape this month). I eat chicken everyday and I am constantly trying new recipes to avoid getting bored of what I eat. Here’s a new one I made last weekend and really enjoyed:

Cinnamon Roasted Chicken

Prep: 10 minures

Roast: 18 minutes at 400 degrees ferenheit

Ingredients:
4 Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (1.5-2 lbs total)
1 tbs vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 and 1/2 cups water

Method:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Arrange chicken in a large Pyrex oven-safe pan. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of oil over chicken.
Sprinkle 1 tsp of salt, cinnamon, and black pepper, evenly over the chicken. Rub these ingredients into the chicken breasts
Roast chicken breasts until they are golden brown (about 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees Fahrenheit)

I doubled all ingredients, except for the oil, and made enough for 3 days worth of lunch and dinner. Please leave feedback on my blog if you cook and enjoy this recipe!
